This solar array is the first system installed on the Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative utility system. The array is mounted on the ground. There are many versatile places that solar can be mounted. As long as the array is within about 500’ of a breaker box, solar can be installed.

This system is one of the first systems installed in the City of Lawrence, KS. The solar is attached to the utility company Weststar Energy’s electrical grid.

Where solar can be placed is very flexible. This system is mounted on an old hog building. Because the area had numerous trees, a site further from the house was required to prevent shading of the solar array.
Good Energy Solutions was honored to have helped Michigan Solar Applications on the installation of the largest solar array installed in Michigan to date. This system was a result of a $.45/kWh Feed-In-Tariff. This is a perfect example of the power of FIT Incentives for Solar Installations.
