Good Energy Solutions is giving away another solar electric energy system to another non-profit organization in the Douglas County Community in 2020.
We want to thank those organizations that give to others all year long by giving the gift that keeps on giving. By installing a solar energy system we can lower a non-profit organization’s electric bill so they can use more of their money to help others.
In 2017, Good Energy Solutions gave away a solar energy system to Van Go, of Lawrence, Kansas. The system has generated over 7.3MWh of energy which is equivalent to 5.05 tons of carbon offset. In addition, we installed LED lights to lower Van Go’s energy consumption and decrease their electric bill by more than 250kw hours per month. The energy savings allow VanGo to put less money toward the utility and more money toward helping kids and teens in our community.
Please fill out the application below by December 31, 2019, if your non-profit is interested in earning a solar energy system. (Entries from 2017 are still eligible, please resubmit) Follow us on Facebook @GoodEnergySolutions
